As the hierarchy shows, Re-using or extending the working life of existing equipment is the most desirable method. Keeping equipment in service for longer reduces the environmental cost of manufacturing, transporting, and disposing of new hardware.

Our ways of re-use

There are several ways EduTwin re-uses equipment

Re-assigning or re-deploying equipment to users with lower acceptance criteria.

For example desktops may be used as thin clients, with low performance requirements

Donating old equipment to non-profit institutions, e.g. schools or charity, will extend the lifecycle as well

Re-use of parts
